Diamond Setting Studio has mastered all types of diamond and gem setting over the past 20 years. We carry out all the different types of setting in our workshop in Hatton Garden, London.

We use different types of diamond settings or gem settings using our high quality hand graving tools. All diamond setting or precious gem settings are done under the micro-scope as this is the best technique to achieve perfection. Customised watches

We can create the most complex jewellery setting works for watches, from dial setting on dials, bezel and cases in both precious and semi-precious stones.

Pave Setting

By closely setting small diamonds together with minimal visibility of the tiny metal beads or prongs holding the stones in place, the effect is one of continuous sparkle.

Fish Tail Diamond Stone Setting

The Fishtail Stone Setting is an elegant setting where the diamond melee is set low into the metal with delicate, fishtail-shaped cuts.

Cut Down Setting

The cut down setting also known as Scallop Setting style is where round brilliant cut diamonds are set in the ring with no edge so the shape of the stone can be seen from the sides of the rings band. The diamonds are set in place with four beads of metal that secure them in place. Overall a stunning way to set off the diamonds.

Channel Setting

A channel setting is a secure way to set smaller diamonds into the band—creating a sparkling row that's flush with the shank. The smaller diamonds are set closely together in the grooves of the channel.

90° & 180° Diamond Setting

The 90° & 180° settings are circles of dazzling bead-set diamonds and coloured stones that elegantly showcase a sparkling ring to maximise brilliance and radiance.

Flush Setting

The Flush Setting is perfect for diamonds, precious stones and semi-precious stones and any shape is suitable. The edges of the metal form around the diamond girdle by burnishing. The diamond will appear flush with the surface of the metal as a result.

Claw Setting

The Claw setting leaves a stone open to light so is fitting for a faceted diamond or other stones where brilliance is coveted.
